Lindsey Laband Earns AVCA All-Region Honors

Georgia Tech volleyball standout Lindsey Laband (Monument, Colo.)was named to the AVCA East all-Region team for the 2005 season, as announced by the American Volleyball Collegiate Association Tuesday.
A second-team all-ACC selection this season, Laband ended the year averaging 12.12 assists per game, which ranked sixth in the ACC. In just two seasons as a starting setter, Laband ended her career with 3,130 assists which ranks fourth on Tech's career assist list. This is the second time in Laband's career that she has been named to the all-region team.
