2000-01: Tech’s school record holder in both the indoor and outdoor pole vault...Indoor mark was set at the Wildcat Speed Meet, where she finished first by clearing 11’10.00”...Outdoor mark was established at the ACC Championships, where she placed third by clearing 12’4.00”...That performance earned her All-ACC honors...Finished fourth at the ACC Indoor Championships...Was second at the Wildcat Classic and third at the Virginia Tech Invitational during the indoor season...Also placed third at the Snowbird Invitational and fifth at the Florida Relays during the outdoor season.
High School: Prep All-American in the pole vault at Providence High School...Earned that honor in 2000 with a second-place finish in the pole vault at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships with a mark of 11’3.75”...Set the North Carolina indoor pole vault record as a senior with a height of 11’3.00” en route to the state title...Also won the 2000 outdoor 4A State title in the pole vault with a state-record height of 11’0”...Placed third in the high jump at the 2000 indoor state championships...Seven-time all-conference selection in the high jump, pole vault and cross country...Earned all-region honors on six occasions...Holds conference and regional records in the vault...Member of the National Honor Society.
