Miller Tabbed Academic All-American of the Year

ATLANTA -
Georgia Tech's Kristi Miller has been tabbed ESPN the Magazine's At-Large Academic All-American of the Year, as announced by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) this week.
Miller, who graduated from Georgia Tech in four years with a 4.0 GPA as a history, technology and society major, earned the No. 1 national ranking in singles during her career and led the Yellow Jackets to an NCAA Title, two ITA National Team Indoor Championships, three ACC Tournament titles and four ACC Regular Season Championships during her career on the Flats.
In addition to earning the Academic All-American of the Year honor, Miller received first-team Academic All-America accolades for the third time in her career (freshmen are not eligible for Academic All-America honors).
Miller now embarks on a career as a professional tennis player, and plays her first tournament as a professional this weekend.
