Message from Georgia Tech Head Coach Bryan Shelton

May 23, 2007

Dear Georgia Tech Fans:

On behalf of the Georgia Tech women's tennis program, I want to say a very heartfelt "THANK YOU" to everyone who supported us throughout this season, to everyone who has sent their well wishes and congratulations, and especially to all the fans who travelled to Athens to share our big moment. What an incredible experience it is to win a National Championship, but to be able to do it in front of so many Georgia Tech fans is just indescribable.

I am so blessed to be able to coach at a school like Georgia Tech, my alma mater, and especially to be able to work with these amazing young ladies. They worked so hard all year long and fought their tails off for four straight matches. Georgia Tech can be extremely proud of what they have accomplished and the way they have gone about it, both on the court and in the classroom.

I have to say thank you to our coaching staff and support staff. Thank you, also, to President Clough, Athletic Director Dan Radakovich and the Georgia Tech administration. And thank you again to all the Yellow Jacket fans who supported us along the way. I hope to see all of you at the Bill Moore Tennis Center next spring when we take the court as defending National Champions.

Bryan Shelton
