Earned All-ACC Honors in 2002
As a Sophomore (2002-03): Finished seventh in the 100 back at the ACC Championships (56.85) ... Swam a personal-best time of 2:01.22 in the 200 back to place ninth at the ACC meet ... Earned a 15th-place finish in the 100 butterfly (57.79) at the conference championship ... Had a NCAA ‘B’ qualifying mark in the 100 back in the prelims of the ACC meet (56.19) ... Led off the 200 and 400 medley relay teams for the Jackets and helped Tech set a school record in the 400 medley (3:49.55) at the conference meet ... Competed in the 100-meter and 200-meter back events at the U.S. Nationals ... Dean’s List for fall semester.
As a Freshman (2001-02): Tech’s first All-ACC performer in women’s swimming … Earned this honor with a third-place finish in the 100 back at the conference championships … Met the NCAA “B” cut in the 100 back with a time of 56.43 … Holds school records in the 100 and 200 back (2:02.45), as well as the 100 fly (56.49) … Recorded lifetime bests in the 50 free (23.93), 100 fly and 100 and 200 back at the conference meet … In addition to her 100 back performance, she finished sixth in the 200 back and 12th in the 100 fly at the ACC Championships … Also a part of the 200 and 400 free relays, as well as the 200 and 400 medley relays, which all posted school records a the ACC meet.
