Montgomery Named to All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. -
Georgia Tech's Alex Montgomery highlights the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Women's Basketball Team, as announced by Commissioner John D. Swofford today. Eight of the league's schools are represented on this year's academic squad, while five selections are repeat recipients. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career. Virginia Tech led all schools with three honorees on the academic team, while Five of the recipients earn the accolade for the second consecutive year, while Langhorne is the only three-year honoree in the awards' history.
