2002-03: Earned All-ACC honors for the first time in her career in 2003, being selected to the third team • Was named to the ACC All-Tournament second team after scoring 32 points and pulling down 18 rebounds in the two games, topped by a double-double of 18 points and 10 boards against Florida State in the quarterfinals • The double-double was the third of her Tech career • Finished second on the team in scoring with 15.7 points per game to go along with 6.5 rebounds per outing • Averaged 20 points per game over the final seven games of the year • Netted 25 points in the Jackets’ NCAA Tournament game with Virginia Tech • Scoring total ranked fifth in the ACC, while she was also seventh in the league in rebounding and third in offensive rebounds (3.29) per game • In Tech’s win over NC State on Feb. 27, she scored a game-high 25 points and also grabbed a game-best nine rebounds, while finishing 12-of-18 from the floor • Recorded her second-straight 20-point game against Wake Forest with 23 in that contest to go along with a career-best four steals • Led the Jackets to a win over Florida State on Feb. 19, by scoring a game-high 19 points and pulling down a game-best eight rebounds • Netted nine of Tech’s first 13 points in the contest • In Tech’s win at Clemson, she scored 16 points and pulled down seven rebounds • Surpassed her career high with 34 points against North Carolina on 13-for-24 shooting from the floor • That scoring output was the second-highest by an ACC player in 2003 • Recorded the second double-double of her career with 20 points and 16 rebounds in the Jackets’ victory over Charlotte.
2001-02: Began the year in a reserve roll for Tech, serving as the Jackets’ sixth-man off the bench • Joined the starting lineup for the last 16 games of the season, making her first start in Tech’s home win over Virginia • Scored in double digits in nine of her 16 starts, including a career-best 32-point outing on the road at Maryland • That total was the third-most points scored by an ACC player in 2002 • Finished fourth on the team in scoring with 10.0 points per game and fourth in rebounding at 4.9 boards per contest • Averaged 12.8 points and 5.8 rebounds in her 16 starts in 2002 • Recorded her first career double-double against Wake Forest on Feb. 3, with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
2000-01: Played in 28 games and started nine for the Yellow Jackets, including the last eight • Scored a career-high 12 points in her first career start against Charleston Southern on Jan. 30 • Recorded 11 points, five rebounds and two assists in the second game of her career on Nov. 25 against Mount St. Mary’s • Scored in double figures four times • Scored eight points and pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds in Tech’s first-ever win over UVA in Charlottesville • Tallied eight points, five rebounds, two steals, one assist and one blocked shot against Wake Forest on Feb. 25.
Prep: Averaged 24 points and 14 rebounds per game • Scored more than 2,000 points in her career, including more than 500 as a senior • Georgia Class AAA Player of the Year in 2000 • North Fulton Player of the Year three times • A two-time first-team All-State honoree • Named to the North Fulton All-Area first team all four years • A two-time honorable mention All-Amercan by USA Today • Listed among the top 50 players in the nation by All-Stater Magazine • Selected to play in the North-South Game • Became the first player in school history to score more than 2,000 points • A three-sport athlete at Riverwood High School in Atlanta • Earned four letters in basketball and track & field • Also lettered in softball • A member of the 4 x 100 state chamiponship relay team in 1998 • Active in National Honor Society and Beta Club • Graduated with honors.
Personal: Fallon Dior Stokes was born on April 10, 1982 • Earned Dean’s List recognition as a freshman in 2001 • Parents are Wayne and Claudia Stokes • Her father played collegiate basketball and football at Kentucky State • Has a younger sister, Brea • Is interested in pursuing a law career after graduating from Tech • Enjoys swimming and playing cards.
