As a Junior (2002-03): Was Tech’s top diver all season long … Placed 17th at the NCAA Zone "B" Diving Championships in the three-meter, scoring 461.60 points … Finished 15th in the one-meter event at the NCAA Zone meet scoring 527.15 points … Finished ninth at the ACC Championships in the one-meter (248.60) … Tallied the Yellow Jacket’s top scores in the one-meter (325.45/6), three-meter (349.80/6) and three-meter 11 dives (480.15).
As a Sophomore (2001-02): Earned All-ACC honors with a third-place finish in one-meter diving…Posted a score of 295.20 in the finals of that event to become Tech’s first all-conference diver since 1996…Also finished sixth in the conference on the three-meter board with a season-best, 11-dive score of 466.55…Season-best, one-meter score of 299.47 came in the dual meet with Emory…Qualified for the NCAA Zone’“B” Diving Championships, placing 26th in the three-meter and 29th in the one-meter.
As a Freshman (2000-01): Placed seventh in three-meter diving at the ACC Championships with a score of 455.65...Met the NCAA Zone Diving qualifying mark for the three-meter event in the dual meet with NC State...Finished 17th at the NCAA Zone “B” Diving Championships with a score of 432.40.
High School: Helped lead Ypsilanti High School team to the Mega Blue League Championship in 2000, which was the first boy’s conference swimming title in school history...Captured diving championships at the South Central Conference championship meet in 1997, also won the regional diving title in 1998, and was the Mega Blue League Diving Champion in 1998 and 1999...Was the MISCA state diving champion in 2000...Finished second at the Michigan State Meet in 2000 and was third in 1999...Garnered first-team All-America honors in 1999 and 2000, and was a NISCA diving honorable mention All-American in 1997-98...Was named to the Michigan All-State team from 1998-2000 and earned all-league honors in 1997-2000...Holds diving records at three different pools, including Ypsilanti High School (313.80).
