Earned All-ACC Honors in 2002

As a Senior (2002-03): Was Tech's top sprint freestyler ... Set a new Jacket record in the 50 free (20.58) to finish 11th at the ACC Championships ... Broke the school record in the 100 free, winning the preliminaries of the conference championship with a time of 44.29 ... Placed fourth in the finals in the 100 free (44.39) ... Guided Tech's 200-free relay team to a sixth-place finish at the ACC meet, breaking a school record with a time of 1:21.56 ... Had a split time of 21.65 to lead off the 400 free relay team that placed sixth at the ACC meet (3:03.21).

2001-02: One of the league’s top freestylers…Earned All-ACC honors with a runner-up finish in the 100 free at the conference championships…Also placed fourth in the 200 free and 12th in 50 free at the ACC meet…Posted career-best and school-record swims in the 50 (20.70), 100 (44.52) and 200 free (1:38.05)…Clocked NCAA “B” qualifying times in the 100 and 200 free…Member of 400 medley relay team that placed second and three other relays that set school records at the ACC Championships.

2000-01: Eclipsed his own school records in the 50, 100 and 200 free...Also a member of three record-holding relays: 400 medley, 200 and 400 free...All records except the 50 free, which was set at the Georgia Invitational, came at the ACC Championships...Finished fourth in the 200 free, fifth in the 100 free and 21st in the 50 free at the ACC Championships...Earned NCAA “B” qualifying times in the 100 and 200 free...ACC Academic Honor Roll.

1999-2000: Set school records in the 50, 100, 200 free and as a member of the school record-breaking 400 and 800 medley relays...Placed fifth in the 200 free and 13th in the 100 free at the ACC Championships...Earned an NCAA “B” qualifying time in the 200 free.

High School: Four-year letterwinner while swimming for Monica Erwin at Pope High School...Team was 1999 Georgia AAA Boys State Champions...Was a 1999 Georgia First-Team All-State Freestyle honoree...Was a First Team All-Cobb County Freestyle honoree 1997-99...Qualified for the U.S. Junior National Championships in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle...Voted “wittiest” student in his high school senior class.
