As a Junior (2002-03): Competed in the sprint freestyle events for Tech ... Swam in the preliminaries of the ACC Championships in the 50 free (20.84) ... Top 100 free time came at the conference meet (47.18) ... Dean's List for fall semester.
As a Sophomore (2001-02): Swam a lifetime best in the 50 free at the ACC Championships, clocking a time of 20.73 in the prelims...Time ranked second on the team and is the program’s second-fastest of all-time...Finished 15th overall at the ACC meet in the 50 free...Also posted the team’s eighth-best all-time mark in the 100 free...Member of school record-setting 200 free relay...ACC Academic Honor Roll.
As a Freshman (2000-01): Posted the team’s fourth-fastest performance of the season in the 50 free with time of 21.54 at the Georgia Invitational...Also swam season bests in the 100 free and 100 back at the event...ACC Academic Honor Roll.
High School: Lettered four years at Lakeside DeKalb County High School...Helped lead team to DeKalb County Championship in both 1997 and 1998...Team captured the Georgia State AAA championship in 1997...Was the DeKalb County champion in the 100 freestyle in 2000, and was a member of Lakeside’s Georgia AAAA state champion 200 freestyle relay team last season as well...Named a Georgia swimming All-Star in 2000 and a first-team Georgia all-state selection during his senior year...Capped his senior season by garnering honorable mention All-America honors from the NISCA...Along with being named team captain during the 2000 season at Lakeside, was also the team’s most valuable swimmer.
