Summer Baseball Update: Wednesday action

A recap of summer league play from July 23, 2008

  • CF Chris House (.258) went 0-for-2 with two walks and a sacrifice bunt.

  • 1B Tony Plagman was 3-for-4 with a sacrifice fly and two RBI.

  • RHP Andrew Robinson was not involved in the decision as Alexandria scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to beat Brainerd 2-1. His line: 7 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 2 SO.
