  • LF Brandon Boggs (.251) went 1-for-4.

  • CF Marlon Byrd (.245) was 0-for-3.

  • SS Nomar Garciaparra (.288) went 2-for-4 with a double.

  • LF Matt Murton (.150) was 0-for-3 with a strikeout.

  • PH David Newhan (.280) went 0-for-1.

  • CF Jay Payton (.243) was 0-for-3.

  • 1B Mark Teixeira (.278) went 3-for-4 with an RBI single, two solo home runs, a walk and a strikeout.

  • DH Michael Fisher (.263) went 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and two strikeouts.

  • SS Tyler Greene (.249) extended his hitting streak to 12 games by going 2-for-4 with a solo home run (16).

  • 3B Wes Hodges (.307) was 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout.
