Talented and extremely athletic pitcher with a good arm that arrived at Georgia Tech in the fall of 2006 with two seasons of eligibility remaining after playing two years in junior college ... Played in just one game in 2007, but is expected to challenge for valuable innings in 2008.

Drafted in the 28th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball draft by the Florida Marlins and in the 20th round of the 2005 MLB draft by the Boston Red Sox, but elected to remain in school.
