As a Junior (2002-03): Swam all the distance events for Tech … Had a sixth-place finish in the 1650 free at the ACC Championships (15:18.32) ... Took 11th place in the 500 free with a time of 4:28.40 ... Swam the preliminaries of the 200 free at the conference championship, finishing in 29th place (1:42.20) … Posted an eighth-place finish at U.S. Nationals in the 800-meter free (8:18.57) … Finished 12th at nationals in the 1500-meter free with a time of 15:54.71) … Part of Tech’s 800 free relay team that finished eighth at nationals (7:45.24) ... As a Sophomore (2001-02): One of the Jackets’ top distance freestyle performers … Finished fifth in the 1650 free and 15th in 500 free at the ACC Championships … Holds the program’s third-fastest time in the 1000 and 1650 free and the fifth-best mark in the 500 free … Recorded lifetime bests in 500 (4:29.95), 1000 (9:24.53) and 1650 free (15:26.59) … Met the NCAA “B” qualifying standard in the 1650 free ...
