Post-Eligibility page
Fast Facts:
In order to graduate, students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and must have met their majors' hour credits and hours requirements (see Major website for details and meet with an advisor for audit)
A decision to move forward with education versus exploring other options shouldn't be taken lightly, and should be evaluated with the understanding of the proper level of commitment required for any outcome.
Failure to take appropriate action at required times could prove extremely punitive. Please be mindful of all applicable dates and procedures, and execute all avenues necessary.
Financial Aid will still be available as well as GTAA academic assistance. Returning student athletes MUST complete an "Application For Degree Completion" with the GTAA Compliance department before any financial assistance can be provided. Certain requirements apply for Post-Eligibility assistance and financial assistance past 5 years of a student's start time at Tech. See Compliance for details.
There is no time table on when you must return to complete your degree.

Withdrawing from school:
If you know you will withdraw from school for other pursuits, please do so as soon as possible to prevent potential pitfalls down the road.
COMMON PITFALLS!!!!
Not withdrawing by Institute deadline. (can result in all F's and dismissal from Georgia Tech)
Not completing 'Incompletes'. (An "I" will turn into an "F" after one year* and can result in dismissal)
Poor Spring grades. (Can result in dismissal, particularly if on probation in Fall semester)
Failure to: Dorm checkout, return books, pay fees - All student responsibility.
