2006 1st and 10 and SWARM Football Student Ticket Procedures

 

Coupon Pick-up

  • Students may pick up their season football coupons at the GTAA Ticket Office location beginning August 21st (first day of school)
  • Students must bring your OWN valid Buzz card.
  • Date passes, if available, may be purchased beginning the Friday, a week prior to the game for 2006 1st and 10 and SWARM members (or Monday for non-members) for the price of an Adult ticket. Date passes are available for the Samford ($15), Troy State ($15), Virginia ($15), and Maryland ($15) and Duke ($15) games. CASH ONLY!

    Exchanging Home Football Coupons for Tickets

  • Blocks of 11 to 300 coupons should be turned in on Friday, 8 days prior to the game, to Amber Reed in the Alexander-Tharpe Fund for 1st and 10 members and Monday (to the Ticket Office) for non-members for pick up on Wednesday, the week of the game. Each block will designate a block leader for pick up of their tickets. (Note: For the 2nd home game (Samford), blocks will need to be turned in on Tues, September 5th due to Labor Day.
  • Guest passes, if available, may be purchased by the block leader for inclusion in the block and count towards the total number in the block. Money for these tickets must be received on Friday for 1st and 10 members (or Monday for non-members) during coupon turn-in. Guest tickets are not guaranteed, but an attempt will be made to fill all requests. SWARM Members - Exchanging Home Football Coupons for Tickets
  • Coupon turn-in for SWARM members is on game day, starting 2 hours prior to kick-off.
  • Bring your Buzz card and your coupon to exchange for a ticket in the SWARM section.
  • All SWARM members must be wearing their SWARM shirt for admission to the game.

    Away Game Procedures

  • Students may purchase any away game ticket that is being sold to the general public.
  • Away game tickets are the full price of the ticket charged by the host institution.
  • The dates and times for away game sales and lotteries are listed below:

  • In the event that an away game is SOLD OUT, a student lottery will be conducted to determine who may purchase away game tickets.

    GT @ Georgia Game Tickets

  • GT vs. Georgia Student Ticket Lottery will be conducted the week of November 6th. Monday and Tuesday students may come to the GTAA Ticket office to register for their lottery number. If the number of registered students exceeds the supply of tickets, a lottery will be conducted after the close of business on Tuesday night and the winning numbers will be posted on Wednesday morning. Students with a winning lottery number may purchase one ticket Wednesday or Thursday from 9-4:30. If tickets remain on Friday they will be available to anyone who participated in the lottery but has not yet purchased a ticket. These tickets, if available, will be sold on a first-come first-served basis.
